Job Description

Sanitation/Operator 3rd shift – Yogurt Dept Our client is looking for a Sanitation Worker/Operator to join their 3rd shift.  The ideal candidate for the Sanitation Worker/Operator position will have previous machine operator and sanitation experience.   Good attendance, reliability and be ability to work well in a team environment are also required.  Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.  Hours: 10pm to 6:30am Mon-Fri, + Overtime; Occasional Saturdays, 9am until donePay: $19.00/hour + $2.00 shift premium = $21.00/hour Sanitation/Operator Responsibilities:
  • Set up line for production
  • Fill barrels and totes with yogurt
  • Move packaging materials in/out of dry storage
  • Use forklift to move finished pallets of yogurt barrels and totes to cooler
  • Assist with additional non-bulk yogurt packaging
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specification are met
  • Verify accuracy and correctness of product identification labels and attach to finished packaged items
  • Operate and monitor CIP system
  • Startup and operate pasteurizer and separator
  • Perform manual cleaning of packaging machines, tables, walls, etc.
  • Backup ferment operator, monitor yogurt vats and complete product transfer to packaging
 Sanitation/Operator Requirements:
