Part-Time Worship Technology Coordinator
We are looking for a dedicated person to work on a part-time bases as the Worship Technology Coordinator at a local Rockford church. The main responsibilities involve ensuring audio/video needs for Sunday worship services. Working closely with the staff and leadership, the Worship Tech Coordinator will assist in supporting current ministries and help in developing new ministry initiatives.
Hours: Must attend a Tuesday evening music practice from 5:45pm to 8:15pm, Wednesday staff meeting from 10:15-12pm and Sunday mornings from 8am to 12:00pm. Additional hours can be chosen by the candidate
Pay: $23.00/hour
Worship Technology Coordinator Responsibilities:
Livestreaming
- Schedule operation of Sunday worship service live streaming and other special services
- Schedule volunteers to operate Sunday worship service live streaming and special services
- Train volunteers to operate and troubleshoot live streaming in sanctuary and chapel
- Install software and hardware updates
Presentation App
- Create weekly template for Sunday worship services
- Coordinate with worship leader and graphic design to enter song lyric and graphic slides to Sunday worship service template
- Schedule volunteers to operate Sunday worship service live streaming and special services
- Train volunteers on how to use presentation app
- Follow-up with staff and volunteers to ensure all presentation components are ready for Sunday worship service
Sound Tech
- Schedule volunteers to operate Sunday worship service live streaming and special services.
Tech Upgrades
- Direct, assist, and/or consult on technology upgrades. Extra time spent on tech upgrades will be compensated outside regular hours.
Special Events
- Offered first right of refusal to provide audio/visual direction for special events; special events are compensated outside regular hours.
Worship Technology Coordinator Requirements:
- Have knowledge of digital sound board systems like Yamaha and Allen and Heath
- Prior experience in audio/visual ministry
- Strong social skills and ability to lead and train volunteers
- Ability to communicate professionally with church staff, leaders, and volunteers
- Desire to learn and develop new ministry models and approaches
