Welder-Fabricator
Fantastic opportunity for a Welder/Fabricator to work at a local manufacturing company that is a leader in its field. The ideal Welder/Fabricator candidate will be able to construct/build orders directly off of blueprints on their own with little assistance. We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills! The concentration will be on Mig welding, but Tig experience would be a benefit. This is a Furst-to-Hire position on 1st shift. Hours: 6am to 2pm, with option to start at 5am
Pay: $20-$23/hour
Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment
- Perform MIG, TIG welding
- Fabricate & build products based on welding blueprints
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Account for and dispose of scrap metal
- Complete welding, assembly, and fabricating
- Communicate with management and team
Welder/Fabricator Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior MIG, TIG & Fabrication experience required
- Ability to read Welding Blueprints
- Assembly experience
- Knowledge of steel fabricating
- Good math and measuring skills, including ability to convert fractions to decimals
- Excellent communication skills
