Job Description
Welder-Fabricator Fantastic opportunity for a Welder/Fabricator to work at a local company that is a leader in its field. First shift, with potential for LOTS of overtime! Furst-to-Hire position, with possibility of Direct Hire. Excellent benefits upon hire, including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, life insurance and retirement plan. Bonus for good attendance! Hours: 6am to 4pm, Mon-Fri. Currently working half days on Saturday.Pay: Depends on experience and skill set, tell us what you are looking for! Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment
- Perform MIG, TIG welding
- Fabricate & build products based on welding blueprints
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Account for and dispose of scrap metal
- Complete welding, assembly, and fabricating
- Communicate with management and team
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior MIG, TIG & Fabrication experience required
- Ability to read Welding Blueprints
- Assembly experience
- Knowledge of steel fabricating
- Good math and measuring skills, including ability to convert fractions to decimals
- Excellent communication skills
