Warehouse Billing Coordinator/Customer Service Representative
Our busy client located in Belvidere is hiring a Warehouse Billing Coordinator/Customer Service Representative. This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity. The Warehouse Billing Coordinator/Customer Service Representative is responsible for responding to inquiries from clients, processing orders, and handling complaints in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner. Must have strong Excel and Billing knowledge.
Hours: 8am to 4pm, M-F, occasional weekend work/OT required
Pay: $22.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints concerning work-orders, shipments, inventory counts, etc.
- Report customer feedback to management
- Act as liaison between customer and warehouse for account administration, invoicing and credit changes
- Generate paperwork/information required for customer work orders including follow up on special requests, expediting orders where necessary, tracking orders and post inventory records
- Assure proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices
- Provide clerical support including overseeing all paperwork associated with orders, maintaining corresponding files, answering phones, operating office equipment/computers needed to perform duties, and greeting visitors
- Maintain updated reports
- Resolve refused product, over, short and damaged (OS&D) orders
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of related work experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel and Billing Knowledge required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative
- Experience working with challenging customers
- Excellent communication and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand the specific needs and requests of customers, the nature of their product and storage and handling needs
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Accurate typing and data entry skills
- May require a visit facility operation in temperatures at or below freezing
- Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must be willing and able to partner with colleagues
- Requires strong reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, and speaking skills
