Receptionists – Veterinary Clinic Local animal clinic is hiring two Receptionists to work at their busy front desk.  The ideal candidates will have some prior medical knowledge, but this is not required.  These are full time, Furst-to-Hire positions.   Must be able to work every other Saturday morning from 7am to 1pm, and then have Wednesdays off. Must be comfortable working around all different types of animals, not just dogs and cats. Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm, with a need to be flexible at start/end of shift. (Might leave at 6pm or 7pm or have to come in for an early appointment.) Will share covering every other Saturday from 7am to 1pm, with that Wednesday off.Pay: $16.00/hour Receptionist Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones
  • Check in guests and pets
  • Use QuickBooks to track financial notes
  • Handle paper charting (training provided)
  • File charts
  • Prepare paperwork for next day’s appointments
 Receptionist Requirements:
  • Must be an animal-lover
  • Take direction well
  • Some medical knowledge is helpful
