Job Description
Receptionist – Veterinary Clinic Local animal clinic is hiring a receptionist to work at their busy front desk. The ideal candidate will have some prior animal and medical knowledge and recent front desk experience. This is a full time, temp-to-hire position. Must be able to work every other Saturday morning from 7am to 1pm, and then have Wednesdays off. Must be comfortable working around all different types of animals, not just dogs and cats.
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm, with a need to be flexible at start/end of shift. (Often leaving at 7pm or 8pm or have to come in for an early appointment.) Will share covering every other Saturday from 7am to 1pm, with that Wednesday off.
Pay: $16.00/hour Receptionist Responsibilities:

- Check in guests and pets
- Use QuickBooks to track financial notes
- Handle paper charting
- File charts
- Prepare paperwork for next day’s appointments
- Must be an animal-lover
- Take direction well
- Medical knowledge
- Experience working in the animal industry
