Unit Specialists Needed!
FurstStaffing has several openings for Unit Specialists. Join a driven team dedicated to hope and recovery. The Unit Specialist supports clients struggling with addiction by providing daily counseling, therapeutic activities, and supervision in a safe, structured environment. This role collaborates with the clinical team to help clients and families integrate recovery principles into daily life.
Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
• Thu–Fri: 7:00am–3:30pm (1st shift)
• Sat–Mon: 2:30pm–11:00pm (2nd shift)
Split shifts required
Pay: Based on education & credentials
• HS/GED: $18.43/hr
• Associate’s: $19.37/hr
• Bachelor’s: $20.25/hr
• +$0.50/hr with CADC certification
• Shift differentials: 2nd (+$0.25/hr), 3rd (+$0.50/hr)
Requirements:
• HS Diploma or GED
• 1 year addiction treatment experience (or equivalent)
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• CADC certified or able to obtain within 24 months
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual, group, and educational counseling
• Monitor client behavior and implement therapeutic interventions
• Assist with treatment plans, AA step work, and group facilitation
• Maintain accurate client records
• Supervise unit activities and ensure a safe, clean environment
• Collaborate with the clinical team and attend meetings
