FurstStaffing is hiring a detail-driven Medical Transcriptionist with room to grow into an Office Manager role. If you’re sharp, organized, and looking for a long-term opportunity and not just a job, this could be your next move. This is a Direct Hire part time or full time position.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm full time or 8:30-3:30pm part time with some flexibility
Pay: $17–$25/hour (based on experience)
Benefits: Paid vacation, holidays & sick leave + health insurance reimbursement up to $100/month
What You’ll Do:
- Transcribe psychiatric medical/legal dictation accurately and on time
- Proofread and edit reports to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance
- Catch and clarify inconsistencies with providers
- Maintain letterhead, signatures, and dictation equipment
- Communicate professionally and contribute to a positive team environment
- Maintain strict confidentiality (HIPAA-compliant)
- Grow your skills through training and education opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year clerical experience preferred (medical office a plus, not required)
- Strong knowledge of medical/psychiatric terminology preferred
- Typing speed of 65+ WPM
- Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and learning EHR software
- Detail-oriented, professional, and team-focused
