Sourcing Expert - Administrative Role This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity with a local Dept of Defense supplier.  The Sourcing Expert is responsible for processing and completing material requests by working with various associates in an existing supply chain and identifying new suppliers.   Hours: 8am to 5pm, Mon-FriPay: $21.00/hour Sourcing Expert Responsibilities:
  • Research and source items to fulfill customer requests
  • Gain understanding of products, commodities, and contract scope
  • Partner with other personnel to answer questions, address concerns and resolve issues
  • Negotiate and establish pricing, and terms and conditions
  • Build relationships with suppliers
  • Assist in resolution of trouble tickets
 Sourcing Expert Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in procurement or supply chain helpful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous and highly organized
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong initiative
  • Team player
