A Shipping & Receiving worker ensures the efficient handling, organization, and movement of materials to support production and shipping operations.
The Shipping & Receiving schedule on 1st shift is M-F, 7am-3:30pm
Shipping & Receiving Pay
Direct Hire position!
Hourly Pay Rate: $16.00/hour + (P4P-Pay for Performance program)
Bonus: up to $2.00/hour weekly
**Get paid every Friday!
Shipping & Receiving Duties/Responsibilities include:
Organization of storage areas
Receiving and organizing materials
Help unload and load trucks
Verify tags on skids
Keep the racks updated with correct tags
Keeping materials organized in a way that is efficient for both production and the shipping department
Daily temperature monitoring and communicating with the maintenance department when there is a problem
Safe operation of warehousing equipment
Prepare for incoming products to speed up the receiving process
Order Picking
Pull materials for production
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent communication skills
Proficient math skills
Excellent attention to details
Education and Experience
One or more years of forklift experience
Heavy lifting required (50 pounds+)
