Job Description

The Senior Accountant reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will handle the following responsibilities:

Completes the month-end close process by recording journal entries, performing G/L account reconciliations, calculating intercompany profit eliminations and consolidating multiple entity results.
Develops and explains product-line profitability and costing analyses.
Collaborates across the business, driving accountability for budget and KPIs.
Assists with year-end audit and tax preparation.
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
Must have 2+ years of accounting experience.

Qualifications

Work onsite in DeKalb, IL and be a part of the team.
Solid Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, SUMIF, filter/sort, data dumps).
ERP implementation experience preferred.
Strong cost accounting background.
Roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial mindset
Experience managing multiple facilities
Experience with consolidations and eliminations
