Job Description
FurstStaffing is looking for a Bilingual Central Scheduler to perform excellent customer relations, document management, inform clients on clinic programs and protocol, and manage patient flow through scheduling and pre-registration. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, with rotating evenings from 11:30am-8:00pm and every other Saturday from 8:00am-12:00pm. Pay for this role starts at $14.41 an hour but goes up based on experience.
Central Scheduler: BILINGUAL required
The Bilingual Central Scheduler will be responsible for the following job functions:
Bilingual with the ability to read and write in Spanish required.
Comply with established policies and procedures, objectives, HIPAA, safety and environmental standards.
Coordinate with scheduling staff as well as clinical staff to optimize consistent patient flow.
Accommodate all scheduling needs using clinic standards and guidelines.
Answer all appropriate incoming calls, and determines intent of caller and make appropriate connection. Must be able to do this task quickly and in a professional/courteous manner.
Prioritize, collect, and print patient documents and distribute to appropriate provider team.
Utilizes scripting to pre-register patients for their appointments, if applicable during low call volume.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
A successful candidate for the Bilingual Central Scheduler opportunity will possess the following skills, qualifications and traits:
High school diploma or equivalent required, but Associates Degree with a concentration in healthcare preferred.
Ability to Prioritize and manage time appropriately.
Follow-through assume responsibility and use good judgment.Maintain professionalism under stressful situations.
Communicate effectively and diplomatically with patients, staff and external agencies.
Work in fast paced environment with quickly changing priorities.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written communication
Punctual and dependable.
