Busy, fast-paced recycling facility is looking for an accurate Scale Office Operator. This position is responsible for a portion of company invoicing and billing as well as all phone-related duties, preparing shipping and receiving paperwork, data entry, and more. The Scale Office Operator position serves as the first point of contact for customers. This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity. Hours: 7am to 4:15pm M-F; potentially every other Saturday, 7:30am to 12:15pm (might stay later depending on how quickly register is balanced.) Once fully trained the Mon-Fri hours may shift to 6:30 am-3:30 pm. Pay: $17.50/hour Benefits: commence on 1st of the month following 30 days of employment once hired on. Health, dental, disability, vision. 401k. 10 paid holidays a year, plus PTO. Scale Office Operator Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable
Process new vendor paperwork
Print checks
Some accounts payable
Process paperwork and invoices to ensure timely payment
Generate reports and review for discrepancies
Analyze reports for cost saving opportunities
Gather sort & file financial records
Answer phones in a professional and customer focused manner
Weigh materials on inbound & outbound vehicles
Maintain office organization and supplies
Respond to customer inquiries
Scale Office Operator Requirements:
Previous experience in a position that required the handling of cash and balancing cash and/or receipts
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Windows and Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Dependability
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
