Job Description
We have a DIRECT HIRE opportunity for TWO Sales Assistants to join our client’s dynamic and goal-driven team! The Sales Assistants will help eliminate non-selling duties from the active sales staff while documenting and expediting sales orders, producing quotes, and enhancing customer relations by providing world-class service to customers. The ideal candidates will have an upbeat attitude and cheery phone voice and demonstrate excellent relationship building skills. Hours: 8am to 5pm, Mon-FriPay: $18/hour to startBenefits: Excellent health benefits (Company pays 100% of employee’s health insurance premium and also contributes to the deductible); 11 days off each year, plus the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Sales Assistant Responsibilities:
Document and expedite sales orders
Create sales orders with minimum salesperson input
Understand pricing codes and special arrangements with customers
Be aware of production scheduling to offer accurate shipping dates
Expedite sales orders
Provide salespeople and customers with daily status reports on all new, in-process and completed orders
Purge completed work orders and follow through on backorders
Initiate returns made by customers
Prepare documentation for shipping samples to customers
Prepare schedules for all trade shows
Plan travel arrangements for the sales team
Sales Assistant Requirements:
Accurate data entry
Cheerful demeanor
Excellent customer service skills
