Job Description
Assistant to the Quality Manager We have a direct hire opportunity working in Dekalb for a leader in the wire and cable manufacturing arena. As the Assistant to the Quality Manager, you will receive on-the-job training in tensile and strength testing. In this role, you will track when machine calibration is due and coordinate with the business partner who handles calibration. Previous mechanical knowledge plus some decent computer experience is a benefit. This is a hybrid role between the plant and the office. Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pmPay: $17.00-$18.00/hour Assistant to the Quality Manager Responsibilities:
Data entry into Excel
Run wire through basic testing
Coordinate calibration testing
Assistant to the Quality Manager Requirements:
Flexibility to deal with technical and clerical duties
Team player
Some mechanical aptitude is helpful
Computer experience
