The Quality Tech will support both production and laboratory operations by ensuring all materials and products meet quality and regulatory standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold food safety, perform laboratory analyses, and maintain equipment reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
· Conduct routine chemical and physical analyses on samples and document results.
· Maintain clear and detailed records of all laboratory activities and quality tests.
· Identify and report any deviations from specifications, initiating corrective actions as needed.
· Perform inspections of materials and products to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
· Conduct X-Ray and metal detection checks on assigned production lines.
· Monitor production start-up processes to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
· Maintain a consistent presence on the production floor to address quality concerns and provide real-time solutions.
· Implement and maintain quality systems and procedures aligned with food safety and product specifications.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
· Ensure personal compliance with all safety regulations, GMPs, and company policies.
· Proactively identify safety concerns and recommend corrective measures.
· Provide support for training programs to enhance quality awareness among team members.
· Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams to drive process
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
· Associate’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated industry.
