Senior Quality Technician – Train on 1st Shift, Move to 2nd Shift FurstStaffing has an immediate opening for someone with experience in quality control. The Senior Quality Technician opportunity is a Furst-to-Hire position at a local healthcare-related company. The client is looking for a team player with excellent communication skills to become part of their quality team. The Senior Quality Technician must know, understand, and comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, federal and state laws. Previous experience is required. Hours: For Training - 6:25am to 3pm, plus OT; some Saturdays (1/2 day)Once trained: will move to 2nd shift and work 2:40pm to 11pmPay: $17.50/hour Quality Technician Essential Duties:
Know and comply with all SOPs and work instructions
Review and recommend SOPs
Oversee, inspect, and approve tags and forms
Inspect and approve portable equipment and parts
Assure proper verification of product is completed
Approve machine set-up and startup
Perform in-process and finished quality inspections
Review batch record and documentation
Oversee and inspect end-of-run clean-up
Work with other departments to assure an orderly flow work, and proper response and documentation of issues
Quality Technician Requirements:
Knowledge of standard SOPs
Possess good oral and written communication skills and legible handwriting
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to write reports and general business correspondence
Possess knowledge of basic math skills
Experience with various inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, etc.)
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Some college courses and 0-2 years of QA In-Process, or related, experience
