Job Description

Punch Press Set-Up/Operator – 1st Shift Immediate opening for a skilled Punch Press Operator who can also manage Set-Up.   This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity to join a leader in the metal stamping industry in Rockford.  The ideal candidate should have some punch press experience, be able to read micrometers and have a good mechanical background.   Hours: 6am to 3:30pmPay: $18.00/hour or more DOE Punch Press Set-Up/Operator Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate Compound Presses
  • Read gauges
  • Complete required documentation
 Punch Press Set-Up/Operator Requirements:
  • Strong mechanical ability
  • Previous punch press experience preferred
  • Ability to read micrometers, depth micrometers and dial calipers
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and quality-minded
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Good math skills
  • Legible handwriting for documentation
