Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Planner to schedule materials and components for our production floor, ensuring smooth operations. You'll manage inventory, collaborate with the master scheduler, and coordinate with departments to prioritize tasks and improve processes.
Production Planner essential job duties- Planning/scheduling current customer orders for production by planning and scheduling materials and components to all applicable departments. Communicates & coordinates with all applicable departmental personnel to establish priority functions of the labor force. Maintains a continuing inventory of all materials and all completed products. Participates in cost reduction and process improvements.
Production Planner required skills- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred and/or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Five (5) years' minimum experience scheduling/planning materials in a manufacturing environment a plus. Good verbal & written communication skills. Microsoft Office applications required, especially excel. Knowledge of MRP in AS400 . Excellent math skills and analytical skills.
Production Planner starting salary is 38 to 40k- Depending on experienceProduction Planner will work 1st shift (5 am to 1:30 pm)
