Job Description
Precision Deburring Operator – Train on 1st – Work on 3rd Direct Hire position for an experienced Precision Deburring Operator. This role will work in the Secondary Department and will train on 1st shift for about 6 months, then move to 3rd shift. Hours: 1st shift – 7am-3:30pm; 3rd shift – 10pm to 6:15amPay: $17/hour on 1st shift; $19.55 on 3rd shift - NOTE: while on 1st shift, you can be paid at the $17/hour pay rate and take advantage of OT; OR you can work 40 hours a week on 1st shift and be paid at the $19.55/hour rateBenefits: Medical, Dental, Prescription, Eye; Paid vacation and paid personal time; Life insurance; 401K; FSA; Education opportunities Precision Deburring Operator Responsibilities and Requirements:
Requires excellent vision and ability to see up close
Requires dexterity and excellent hand/eye coordination
Must have strong attention to detail
Able to read and understand job traveler work instructions regarding deburring
Able to utilize various methods to remove burrs from gears including filing and brushing
Ability to file parts on the lathe
Ability to use buffer
Understand and be aware of machinery capabilities and limitations
Correctly fill out all necessary paperwork
Accurately count parts
Time input per job
Help keep area clean and organized
Exercise care when handling parts
Strong communication skills required
Deburring experience preferred
Ability to lift/carry 20-50 pounds
This is not production deburring where a machine is doing the work. This is fine-tuned, attention to detail work involving use of small tools to do the deburring on small pieces. Please apply here or contact Heidi at 815-229-7810. #FSC
