Part Time Office Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and professional part-time Office Assistant to join a small local manufacturing company. The Office Assistant serves as the face of the company, dealing directly with customers. A professional demeanor is essential. Must be able to work with a sense of urgency and convey competence when dealing with staff and customers. Meticulous attention to detail is needed for data entry into customer accounts. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Hours: M-F 10:30am to 3:30pm
Pay: $18-$20/hour
Part Time Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Data entry
- Shipping responsibilities – scheduling shipments, processing packing slips
- Interaction with staff on the plant floor
- Customer contact regarding shipments and orders
- Bills of lading
Part Time Office Assistant Requirements:
- Experience with MS Office – Word and Excel; Quickbooks would be helpful
- Some manufacturing background preferred; or experience working in a manufacturing company office
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional and positive demeanor is important
