Job Description

Full time Office Administrative Assistant  A local DeKalb service company is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work with their Operations Director.   The Administrative Assistant is a full-time position and will handle a variety of duties in this busy office, including answering incoming calls and assisting waiting room visitors.   This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Hours: Monday-Friday, Full time, 8am-4: 30pmPay: $18/hour Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Monitor switchboard, answer overflow calls, and direct callers to appropriate party
  • Receive and distribute mail and incoming/outgoing daily communications
  • Assist guests with paperwork
  • Copy, file, and process applications
  • Maintain paper supplies and office bulletin boards
  • Work closely with other teams and provide backup support
  • Work on special projects as needed
Administrative Assistant Qualifications
  • Ability to work efficiently and handle a variety of duties as once
  • Understand the confidential nature of the work
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Work closely and effectively with other team members, including the Operations Director
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, demonstrating patience, courtesy and discretion when communicating with staff and guests
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years office admin experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
