Packer/General Labor-3rd Shift Cheese producer in Monroe is hiring a Packer/General Labor worker on their 3rd shift.  Some experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate with a good work history.  The ideal candidate must be able to train on 1st shift (Monday through Friday, 5am to 3pm + overtime) and then transition to 3rd shift once training is complete.  This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.   Hours: 9:30pm to 6am, Sun-Thurs (rotating days/shift)Pay: $16.90/hour when training on 1st shift then after training for approximately 2 weeks-$2.00 shift differential when working on 3rd shift, plus $1.00 increase for hours worked between 5pm-10pm, and $2.00 increase for hours worked between 10pm-5am Packer/General Labor Responsibilities:
  • Follow proper feeding process, place cheese in packets and weigh product
  • Build boxes, code, inspect, pack, tape, and label boxes
  • Keep work area clean
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping
  • Sanitation duties as needed
 Packer/General Labor Requirements:
  • Food manufacturing experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Keep strict adherence to GMPs
  • Keep strict adherence to safety and PPE protocols and procedures
  • Initiative to complete tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent listening skills
  • Flexibility in job roles, willing to assist teammates when needed
