Job Description
Cheese Packer – 1st shift Furst-to-Hire 1st shift assignment available for a Packer at a leading Monroe cheese maker. The ideal candidate will have previous packing and industrial experience. Hours: 5am until done Every other Saturday, 5am until donePay: $19.00/hour Packer Responsibilities:
- Meet efficiency levels while maintaining a high-quality product
- Remove and unload packaged cheese and feed cheese onto conveyors and or place cheese into master cartons and or onto pallets
- Monitor quality cheese packaging and labeling and print quality and accuracy of printed coding
- Accurately complete associated line operation paperwork while maintaining efficiencies
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Weigh cheese
- Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager
- Previous packing and industrial experience required
- Ability to do occasional heavy lifting
- Team-player, willing to meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
