Job Description
Join this busy cheese manufacturer handling Packing duties on the 1st shift. Packing team members are responsible for the efficient packing of cheese while following all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices. Must have some previous experience working in a cheese manufacturing environment and demonstrate strong longevity in work history. Hours: 5am until done, Mon-Fri, and every other Saturday, 5am until donePay: $19.00/hour Packing Responsibilities:
- Monitor quality cheese packaging and labeling and print quality/coding
- Remove and unload packaged cheese
- Feed product onto conveyors
- Place product onto pallets
- Accurately complete line operation paperwork
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Weigh cheese
- Attend departmental meetings and trainings as assigned
- Follow all safety and GMPs standards
- Meet efficiency levels while maintaining a high-quality product
- Demonstrated longevity at previous jobs
- Cheese packing experience required
