Office Clerk – Inventory Control
FurstStaffing is hiring a detail driven Office Clerk – Inventory Control to support operations at a fast-paced cold storage facility in Belvidere. This role is critical to maintaining accurate customer inventory, managing company supplies, and upholding the highest standards of safety and food compliance. Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:00pm (Mandatory Overtime)
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and optimize inventory control procedures
- Complete warehouse supply inventories and cycle counts
- Ensure accurate receiving and shipping (damage-free, properly palletized and wrapped)
- Maintain associate gear and PPE inventory
- Use computer systems to track counts, print reports, and communicate updates
- Analyze data to ensure 100% shipping accuracy
- Investigate OS&D discrepancies and identify root causes
- Support food safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Operate a forklift
- Perform tasks at heights as needed
- Complete additional responsibilities as required
What You Bring:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to accurately track inventory and generate reports
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Reliability and professionalism
- Legible handwriting
- Forklift experience preferred
