Specialty physicians’ group has an immediate need for an experienced Medical Biller and Coder to work with their team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of medical billing experience or be a certified medical coder with 1 year of on the job experience. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity! Great hours and a great team to work with. We are looking for a Medical Biller and Coder who will take initiative and who works well in a fast-paced environment. Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Mon-FriPay: $20-$22/hour DOE Medical Biller and Coder Responsibilities:

Review and code inpatient medical records and emergency room visits with ICD 10 guidelines
Responsible for daily charge capture for all assigned providers
Ensure all coding is correct
Take relevant information from EMR for appropriate billing
Appeal denied claims
Post checks, EFT, and direct deposits
Work with aging reports, contacting insurance companies to check status of payments or appeals

Medical Biller and coder Requirements:

Knowledge of current CPT and ICD 10 guidelines
Certified medical coder with 1 year experience or three years of medical billing experience
Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
Ability to manage high volume of tasks and prioritize workload
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to work in a team environment
