Job Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will design and launch innovative machines for working with sheet metal. Job Duties:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3 or more years of Machine Design Experience. Experience with sheet metal or automated machines preferred. 2. FEA and SolidWorks a must; Inventor a plus. Knowledge of GD&T. Microsoft Office3. Highly detailed and organized. 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.5. Good knowledge of industrial machinery design is desired.6. Ability to handle multiple projects and to adapt to changing priorities.

- Performs SolidWorks based modeling/drafting for part and finish drawings; generate layouts.
- Design and detail of automated and manual type machines.
- Eager and motivated to accomplish company goals and work with minimal supervision to complete project deadlines.
- Supports Sales, Manufacturing and Assembly on new and existing products.
- Assembly and testing of prototypes.
- Trouble shooting problems and finding the best solution.
