Job Description
Master Machine Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift We are looking for an experienced Master Machine Maintenance Mechanic to join a leading packaging company’s 2nd shift. The Master Machine Maintenance Mechanic involves a wide range of responsibilities related to machine maintenance and operation and will assist the Maintenance Supervisor with all maintenance activities on the shift. This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity. Hours: 2:50pm-11pm, with OT and some Saturdays requiredPay: $31.00-$36.00/hour DOE Master Machine Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

- Know and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Create, review, recommend and revise SOPs and work instructions as needed
- Assist with procedure training and document appropriately
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to 6S Standards
- Ability to accurately diagnose technical problems, recommend solutions and implement corrective actions
- Thoroughly and accurately document maintenance activities into system logs and records following documentation protocol
- Operate all machines and equipment as required
- Be familiar with technical terms of all machines and equipment
- Perform changeovers, set-ups, and tear downs without assistance
- Perform preventative maintenance without assistance and make practical suggestions for improvements
- Ability to serve as ‘Acting Maintenance Supervisor’ as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanic Lead III
- Possess knowledge of automated flexible packaging
- Possess good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and provide direction when necessary
- This position involves physical movement, lifting and some strenuous activity; candidates should be able to stand for extended periods of time and have good manual dexterity
