Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Supervisor – 3rd shift
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maximizing availability of all plant and equipment and thus ensues security of production understanding that the direction of all routine maintenance activities shall be in line with company operating policies and procedures and shall ensure compliance with safety, legislative, environmental and certifying authority requirements.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maximizing availability of all plant and equipment and thus ensues security of production understanding that the direction of all routine maintenance activities shall be in line with company operating policies and procedures and shall ensure compliance with safety, legislative, environmental and certifying authority requirements.
- Supervises all personnel and operations in the department.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
- Trains, upgrades, evaluate & review all dept. employees and assures adherence to current ISO procedures and safety procedures.
- Ensures that established policy, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.
- Distributes plant status reports to the next shift Supervisor and Area Manager.
- Troubleshoots problems.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor' s degree in related field preferred; and/or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Two (2) years' experience in all phases of building maintenance.
- Experience in estimating maintenance and repair costs.
- Good knowledge of maintenance method and equipment.
- Ability to lead a multi-task team as a supervisor and in a technical capacity.
- Knowledge of equipment & processes.
- Must have good written and oral skills.
- Ability to solve problem and to lead by example.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Experience with Excel, Word, & AS400.
