Line Inspector – 2nd shift
A prominent packaging company has an opening for a Line Inspector to work on their 2nd shift. The Line Inspector visually checks that product is free and clear of defects. The Line Inspector monitors the quality of the product and will do some packing duties. This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity, working in a very clean, procedure-driven environment.
Hours: 2:50pm to 11pm, with some overtime as needed
Pay: $17/hour
Line Inspector Responsibilities:
- Visually check all products
- Monitor quality, and perform clean-ups and set-ups
- Complete batch record documentation
- Assist with set-up and operation of all production related equipment
- Monitor the quality of packaging components during the production process
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Receive and enter items using a radio frequency device or computer
- Hand pack unit cartons as needed
Line Inspector Requirements:
- Must be willing to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) – which includes no make-up, jewelry, fake fingernails, or nail polish
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Ability to work in a strong team environment
- Must meet background check and pre-employment drug-test requirements
- Must pass visual acuity test
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
- Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Maintain a cooperative attitude toward co-workers
