Job Description
Legal Secretary Direct Hire opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join a small, local law firm. Some legal experience is preferred, but more important is attention to detail and strong clerical skills. The practice deals mainly with real estate, small businesses, estate planning, guardianship, and some minor civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be flexible with job duties, willing to take on a variety of tasks. Hours: Full or Part-Time opportunity, working between 8:30 to 4:30pm, Mon-FriPay: $17.00 to $22.00/hour, DOE Legal Secretary/Clerical Support Responsibilities:
- Handle e-filings
- Answer phones
- Develop drafts
- General secretarial duties
- Knowledge of MS Office products
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to flex with workflow and adapt as new priorities emerge
