FurstStaffing is seeking a highly organized and experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join a local law firm. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with at least two years of legal assistant experience, preferably in a litigation setting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, client-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. This is a Direct Hire position.
Hours: 8:30am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys
Manage legal documents, scheduling, and correspondence
Maintain case files and track deadlines
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and other legal professionals
Prioritize and manage multiple assignments with accuracy and efficiency
Take direction from multiple sources while remaining self-directed and proactive
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a legal assistant or paralegal (litigation preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong time management, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent client service and interpersonal skills
Experience in Collections a plus
