Inventory Control Specialist - 2nd shift  
 
A Belvidere company needs an Inventory Control Specialist to work in their busy storage facility. You will monitor customer inventory as well as the company’s supply inventory.  This position is crucial to the efficient handling of customers’ products.  This is a 2nd shift position, but there is a possibility it could transition to a weekend shift or a 3rd shift, if needed. Must be able to work any shift. Your hard work could turn this into a Furst-to-Hire opportunity!   
 
Hours:  Monday-Friday 3pm to 11pm 
Pay: $18/hour 
 
Inventory Control Responsibilities:   
- Complete warehouse supply inventories/empty pallet counts/temp recorder counts 
- Ensure customers’ product stock is adequate, completing inventory and cycle count goals 
- Ensure customers’ product is received and shipped with proper pallets, wrap, no damage, etc. 
- Complete associate gear inventory, keeping PPE on hand at all times 
- Use computer to monitor, complete counts, print reports, and communicate 
- Analyze data to ensure customers’ ship-out is 100% correct 
- Analyze data for OS & D to find root cause 
- Report to Manager any issues or inaccuracies 
 
Inventory Control job Requirements: 
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook 
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports 
- Analytical mind with math skills 
- Strong organizational and planning skills 
- Strong communication skills 
- Reliable and trustworthy 
- Legible handwriting  
- Must be flexible to stay and work OT when needed 
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment 
- Able to adapt to change – move from one project to another as needed 
- Able to work in a cold environment 
- Self-sufficient and able to prioritize
