We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Handler!
Food Service Handler Job Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and order of all food service areas, equipment and supplies and prepare pre-made lunches in adherence to all state and local food service rules and regulations.
Food Service Handler Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Must possess a verifiable Highschool Diploma/GED.
- Must possess a state food handler’s certificate. (Trainings hours & cost of class paid by employer)
- Background and Fingerprinting at off-site location. (Time & mileage paid by employer)
- Upon hire, employee will need to submit 3 written reference letters, provide a current physical (done within the past 6 months) with a TB test, become a member of Illinois Gateways to Opportunity, the state childcare training site, and complete any required DCFS trainings. (Training hours paid by employer)
Food Service Handler starting wage is $15 per hour.
Food Service Handler work schedule is Monday-Friday 10:30am-1:30pm
