Fitter/Welder
Locally owned and busy custom fabrication shop is seeking a Fitter/Welder to work on custom iron products. This is a direct hire opportunity. The company is looking for an experienced welder but will consider someone new to the industry who shows promise and potential. The job requires handling the whole set up, not just putting parts in a jig. Mostly working with steel.
Hours: M-F: 5 or 6am to 2pm, with OT (not on weekends)
Pay: $18-$36/hour, DOE

Fitter/Welder Responsibilities:
- Fabricate & build products based on welding blueprints
- Fit components and assemble them accurately
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment
- Perform MIG, TIG welding
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Account for and dispose of scrap metal
- Complete welding, assembly, and fabricating
- Communicate with management and team
Fitter/Welder Requirements:
- Ability to read drawings and prints
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
