Facilities Maintenance
Are you an experienced Facilities Maintenance professional looking for a flexible part-time role? We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated technician to handle a variety of maintenance tasks in a downtown Rockford commercial office building. This is a direct hire opportunity, ideal for someone with strong building systems knowledge and excellent communication skills to interact with tenants.
Hours: Mornings, 25 hours
Pay: $20-$30/hour DOE
Benefits: Part-time position – no benefits available
Facilities Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Inspection of grounds to identify maintenance needs
- Perform groundskeeping and landscaping upkeep
- Handle plumbing and lighting repairs
- Maintain records and documentation of maintenance work
- Troubleshoot facility issues and respond to emergencies
Facilities Maintenance Requirements:
- Previous experience in facility maintenance with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to do basic electrical repairs
- A problem solver who can work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
