Position: Event Coordinator / Supervisor / Lead in Training
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $17-$22/hour to start DOE, with potential for overtime during peak seasonAbout Us:
 Join our vibrant event services company, where we bring joy and entertainment to a variety of events. We specialize in recreational events serving a diverse clientele that includes private residences, churches, schools, corporate events, community organizations and more.Role Overview:
 We’re on the lookout for a proactive Event Coordinator / Supervisor / Lead in Training. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a hands-on Lead in Training or Supervisory position, depending on their capabilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and assist in managing events alongside a team of Supervisors.
  • Ensure the accurate preparation and loading of event materials.
  • Manage staff schedules and oversee event logistics.
  • Handle on-call duties on rotation, providing support and resolving issues during events.
  • Participate in the hiring process and contribute to building a strong team dynamic.
 Qualifications:
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variable schedule and have availability on weekends and holidays during the high summer season.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibilities within the company.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 75lbs on occasion.

 Additional Details:
  • The business experiences high activity on weekends and holidays, which are peak times. Work weeks are usually 5 days a week. 
  • Flexibility is essential, as the work pace intensifies from Thursday to Sunday.
  • 90% of events occur within a 2-hour radius of our facility
  • The role involves working with a team, often entry-level workers, requiring oversight and occasional quick problem-solving.
  • Schedules may vary, with some advance notice provided, to accommodate the dynamic nature of event planning.
  • During the off-season, the schedule is more consistent.
