Job Description
Electrical/Mechanical Assembler We are looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Assembler on a Furst-to-Hire basis. Local manufacturer of fabricating equipment has an immediate need for an experienced Electrical/ Mechanical Assembler on their 1st shift. In this role, you will assemble and wire industrial electrical panels and controls for CNCs, lasers, press brakes and other machines. Final inspection and testing are an important part of the Electrical/Mechanical Assembler position. Hours: 6am to 4:30pmPay: $20.00/hour Electrical/Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:

- Assemble and build panels and controls for a variety of machines
- Test run machines
- Conduct final inspection
- Utilize overhead crane and proper rigging and lifting devices
- Operate a forklift
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of wiring practices, layout, neatness in cable runs
- Knowledge of using flexible, rigid conduit and terminating wires
- Ability to perform mechanical assembly
- Ability to use hand tools: screw drivers, drills, taps wire cutters, soldering irons, wrenches, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
