POSITION TITLE: Mechanical/Electrical Assembly (Laser, Press Brakes, Plasma Tables, Shears and Bending Roll) POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, is responsible for assembling Laser, Press Brakes, Plasma Tables, Shears and Bending Roll Assembly machines and related products, via blueprints, bill of materials, photos, job notes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: · Utilize photos, blueprints, engineering sketches, verbal instructions to build product. · Follow written or verbal instructions. · Write legibly, fill out final inspection and test documentation. · Utilize hand tools, power tools, air tools. · Knowledge of hydraulics. · Safe machine startup, troubleshoot startup issues. · Utilize overhead cranes and proper rigging or lifting devices. · Operate a forklift. · Maintain good housekeeping and works to achieve the housekeeping goals set forth by Warehouse Supervision. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires majority of time standing and walking. Requires normal speaking skills, vision, and hearing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Requires eye/hand coordination and body dexterity to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, handle, climb and balance. Regular use of hand/eye coordination.
