Position Details:
Pay: $16-$20/hour
Schedule: Full-time (8-9 hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
Training: In-person, plus 30–60 online training hours
Qualifications:
✔️ Must be at least 19 years old and 5+ years older than the oldest child in care
✔️ High School Diploma or GED
✔️ Background check and fingerprinting (in Freeport; mileage & time reimbursed)
✔️ Must meet one of the following:
- 60 college credit hours (6 related to child development), OR
- 30 credit hours + 1 year of experience (1,560 hrs) in a licensed child care setting, OR
- Completion of an approved credential (e.g., CDA, CCP)
