Job Description

Full-Time Custodial Worker
 
Growing charter school is in need of a Custodial Worker.  The ideal candidate will have previous custodial experience and be a self-starter who can work on their own.  This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity.
 
Hours: 12pm to 8pm M-F
Pay: $16-$18/hour DOE
 
Custodial Worker Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, lunchrooms, and classrooms
  • Stock restrooms
  • Remove trash
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub and refinish floors
  • Wash windows and walls
  • Pick up litter within school and on grounds
  • Set up tables for events as needed
  • Ensure staff and student safety during inclement weather by shoveling walkways
  • Perform minor repairs
 
Custodial Worker Requirements:
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds; 60 pounds on occasion
  • Ability to work independently
  • Commitment to the school’s vision and mission
