Job Description
Sanitation Worker needed at leading cheese producer in Monroe. There is a lot of opportunity for overtime! The majority of the workload will involve sanitation duties, but you will also do some packing work. The Sanitation Worker position can be physically demanding and requires standing throughout the shift, along with stooping, bending, turning, and reaching. Previous experience working in a cheese manufacturer and longevity in work history is required.
Hours: Monday-Friday and every other Saturday, 10pm to 6:30amPay: $19/hour + $3.00 shift premium
Sanitation Worker Responsibilities:· Clean machinery, equipment, and work areas· Pack finished product into cartons, pails, or bags· Operate packaging equipment to fill bags or containers with product· Label product· Move pallets of cheese and totes· Prepare supplies and labels· Accurately complete required paperwork
Sanitation Worker Requirements:· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds· Able to work in a fast-paced environment· Able to stoop, bend, and turn to reach product· Previous experience working in a cheese manufacturing environment· Strong work history and longevity required
