Job Description
Credit and Collections Coordinator
We are looking for a Credit and Collections Coordinator to work in a busy credit department. This is a Furst-To-Hire opportunity, with potential to increase your take-home pay as you learn and grow within the position.
Pay: $16.50 – negotiable DOE
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm
Credit and Collections Coordinator Duties:
- Process Credit Card Payments
- Resolve short pays or overpayments from customers
- Complete ACH requests
- Review aging reports & contact customer with inquiries on payment
- Send out monthly statements
- Support front desk with phones on lunch and breaks when needed
- Confirm payment, fill out Lien Waver and send to customers
- Fill out Credit reference requests
- Monitor and respond to all emails
- Review and update customer files
- Complete open account requests
- Complete bank deposits
- Support Sales
Credit and Collections Coordinator Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills needed to negotiate with customers
- Previous experience working in business credit and collections
- Good foundation of basic accounting principles
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proven record of maintaining precise records for company and state audits
