Job Description
Calibration Lab Tech-Quality Furst-to-Hire opportunity for someone with quality control or calibration experience skills to join a growing local company as a Calibration Lab Tech. Your knowledge and skill in calibration will make you a successful candidate for this position. Company will train on their protocol, but experience is required. Lots of longevity at this company; a nice family atmosphere with amazing co-workers. Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 4pmPay: $20-25/hour, depending on experience Calibration Lab Tech Responsibilities:
Calibrate tools that come into the facility from clients
Ability to use a caliper, thread plug and other equipment
Work on calibrating everything from hand-held tools to industrial robots
Calibration Lab Tech Requirements:
HS Diploma (or strong equivalent work experience)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Valid DL to support eventual local travel to client sites
Strong math skills - including working with decimals
Strong computer abilities-must be able to do some data entry, and have some basic computer operation skills
Prior knowledge related to basic machines, machine tooling, micrometers, calipers, or other inspection desired
Ability to learn and retain new information and follow directions
Ability to show interest and engagement
Strong attention to detail
Communication abilities to interact with internal staff and customers
Any electronics experience is a strong plus but is not required
Dependable - attendance is important
Ability to work with very fine measurements
