CNC Programming Machinist – Take the Lead at FurstStaffing
FurstStaffing is seeking a highly skilled CNC Programming Machinist who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and stepping up when it counts. If you can program from print, set up multi-axis lathes, and confidently run Mazatrol conversational programming, this is your opportunity to play a key role on a high-performing team. You won't just be running machines. You'll be a direct right hand to the CNC Supervisor and ready to lead in their absence.
Hours: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)

What You’ll Do:
• Program CNC lathes directly from print (4+ years required)
• Create and prove part programs using Mazatrol conversational programming
• Enter zero and reference points, tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches
• Perform calculations using geometry and trigonometry
• Complete full machine setups independently
• Produce quality parts from complex blueprints with minimal supervision
• Interpret GD&T and detailed technical drawings
• Install and adjust 3- and 4-jaw chucks, collets, bushings, stops, and tooling
• Verify settings through first-run inspections and buddy checks
• Support and guide the CNC Lathe team through programming and setup validation
What You Bring:
• Proven CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (2-axis through 5-axis required)
• Strong working knowledge of Mazatrol and Fanuc systems
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Basic milling and power tool knowledge preferred
• Ability to lead others and support team success
