CNC Machinist – Full or Part-Time – Flexible Schedule
Are you a skilled CNC Machinist who is interested in flexible hours? We have an immediate need for a CNC Machinist to join a local precision machining business that has been in business in Rockford for over 50 years. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, program the job and run it from start to completion. The company is flexible on the schedule and can accommodate a full-time person or a part-time person. This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity.
Hours: Flexible, full or part-time; a few hours a day or a few days a week, between 7:15am and 5:30pm
Pay: Open, DOE
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Operate Hurco and ProtTRAK CNC milling machines
- Operate a MAZAK CNC lathe, a Dynopath lathe and a vertical machining center
- Work with precision parts for the medical and aeronautical industries
- Flexibility to work on other machines (lathes and mills) as needed
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- Must be able to do precision work with close tolerances
- Ability to maintain very specific dimensions
