Administrative Assistant – Social Media/Graphic Skills Part-time opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to work for the Pastor of a local church. There will be a lot of varied duties, including coordination of online communication, such as updates to the church website using WordPress, using Canva Pro for graphics and products such as Instagram posts, Facebook posts, flyers, postcards,  other social media and a YouTube page.  The schedule for the Administrative Assistant is flexible with just two required meetings each week (Options are T/W/Th between 10am-2pm). The rest of the time can be adjusted to work for you! Hours: Flexible! 15 Hours a week for the first 6 months. Some opportunity to add hours over time. Pay: $18-$20/hour range. May submit others DOE. Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Pastor with weekly tasks, such as planning weekly worship service
  • Take notes during weekly staff meetings
  • Assemble material for Bible studies
  • Coordinate volunteers
  • Update church website and social media on a weekly basis
  • Create graphic arts for the church website, flyers, post cards and social media
 Administrative Assistant Requirements:
  • Strong computer and social media skills
  • Experience with Facebook and YouTube
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Preferred knowledge of WordPress and Canva Pro
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter who can work well independently
