FurstConsulting is assisting The Arc of Winnebago, Boone & Ogle Counties in their search for an Administrative & Fundraising Coordinator to join their team.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Administrative & Fundraising Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Assist in the facilitation of the Home-Based Program with Self-Directed Assistants
- Manage daily activities of reception/general office
- Oversee the time management of the Office Assistant
- Assist and manage new hire onboarding
- Assist in yearly reviews and audits
- Attend organization management meetings including Board of Directors and Finance Committee meetings and take minutes.
- Maintain alliances and partnerships with other organizations including participating in community events
- Assist in planning and implementing fundraising strategies and activities while adhering to fundraising and event budgets
- Assist in managing donor relationships including updating the donor database, identifying corporate sponsorships, and building relationships with auction donors
- Identify grantors and submit grants in support of current programs or new initiatives
- Assist in managing the design, development, implementation, and coordination of all promotions and advertisements including direct mail and print
- Assist in coordinating webpage and social media maintenance including developing material and updating current events
- Assist in maintaining The Arc’s branding and image
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Degree preferred; will consider any combination of education and equivalent experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

- Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to accommodate occasional evening or weekend hours as needed for future planning sessions, rec nights, fundraiser, etc
- Valid driver’s license
This is a direct hire, onsite position. Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. Salary $45,000/year plus medical, dental, vision and generous PTO/holiday schedule.
